By using awwurl.com you agree to these terms. They are short because the service is simple: free tools, no account, and results produced by software from public data.

1. The service

AwwURL provides automated checks of websites, links, QR codes and email senders, operated by AwwURL. The service is provided as is, free of charge, and may change or be withdrawn at any time.

2. Results are information, not advice

A status, a trust score or a link expansion is an automated reading of public signals at one moment in time. It can be wrong, out of date or incomplete. It is not legal, financial or security advice and is not a statement of fact about any person or company. You are responsible for your own decisions, including whether to visit a site, buy from it or trust an email. See the Disclaimer for more.

3. Acceptable use

• Do not use the service to attack, overload or probe a website you do not own, or to check sites at a rate that would burden our servers. Automated access needs written permission; the rate limits on the site are the limit.
• Do not submit reports you know to be false, and do not submit reports about a competitor to harm it. Reports contain no personal data and we remove abusive ones.
• Do not copy the database or scrape the site to build a competing service. Quoting a result with a link back to the page is welcome.

4. Visitor reports and content

By submitting a report you give us a non-exclusive licence to publish it on the relevant page. Reports are published automatically and may be edited or removed at our discretion. We are not the author of visitor reports and do not verify them; they are shown as reports, not as findings.

5. Site owners

If a page about your website contains an error, use the Contact page and we will correct it. We do not remove pages about public websites. Scores are recalculated from public records and we do not sell changes to them.

6. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from use of the service or reliance on a result, including loss of business, data or profit. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

7. Trademarks

Company and product names on this site belong to their owners and are used only to identify the website being checked. Their appearance here does not mean the owner endorses this service.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales and any dispute goes to the courts there, without affecting mandatory consumer protections where you live.
