Status pages

A site shown as up loaded from at least one of our check locations at the time shown on the page. A site shown as down failed from every location we checked. Neither is a guarantee: a site can be up for us and down for you because of your network, your DNS or your region, and a site can block automated visitors while serving people normally. The test from your own browser on each status page is there to tell those cases apart. Where we quote a service's official status page, the wording is theirs.

Trust scores

A trust score is calculated by software from public signals such as domain age, company records, web history, blocklists and visitor reports. Every signal and its weight is published on the Method page. A low score means those signals are weak or missing, which is common for new legitimate businesses; it does not mean a site is a scam. A high score means the signals are strong; it does not mean a site is safe, and a well-established site can still be compromised or run a poor business. Scores change as records change and as visitors report.

Nothing on this site is an allegation of fraud or wrongdoing against any person or company. Wording such as "high risk" or "flagged" describes the score band, and the reasons are listed beside it so you can judge them yourself.

Visitor reports

Reports are written by visitors and published as submitted. We do not verify them. They are one signal among many and are labelled as reports wherever they appear.

Link, QR and email tools

The link expander follows redirects from our server; a link can behave differently for you, for example by checking your device or country. The QR reader decodes in your browser and the decoded text is then checked like any other link. The email sender check reads public DNS records; a correct SPF, DKIM and DMARC setup does not prove a specific message was sent by the domain owner.

Disputes and corrections

If a page about your site is wrong, write to [email protected] with the domain and the signal you dispute. We correct verifiable errors quickly and note the correction on the page.

Some pages carry advertising and links to products we recommend. If you buy through one of those links we may earn a commission at no cost to you. Advertising has no influence on any status or score.
